Subject:New Topic: Terrorism
Posted by:david_deacon.
Time:6:44 pm.
In the long absence of any new questions, I thought I'd pose one to the community. Whoever feels like contributing may contribute.

Question: Can terrorism ever be justified?

Right now, in my city (Rochester, NY) we're having a huge problem w/ late night teen violence. In the past week, 2 teen boys have been murdered. The brother of one of the boys who was with him when murdered is clinging to life in a hospital. A pregnant teenage girl was also murdered by someone w/ a vendetta against her. Bearing this in mind, the topic of discussion which is something my city is contemplating...

Based on the leftover topics from our last poll select a new topic. Place it in a comment. The one with the most interest will be the next topic for discussion/debate. Select only one, and vote only once. I'm too lazy to do a poll today.

I've also been wondering what you all think about selecting the LJ user with the best argument in each debate? Sort of like a winner (even though there really isn't one b/c everyone is entitled to their opinion.) Comment with your input on the idea. You nominate a person, then we'll post a poll and everyone votes for a winner. What do you think????

Being that I saw several people mention this as a topic.... it's the people's choice!

Same Sex Marriage/Gay Rights!!
You know the rules. GO!!!!

And, feel free to keep debating the previous topic if you so choose. I just wanted the non-parents to feel more welcome by giving them a non-parenting related topic.

Oh, and I want to thank those of you who have voted in the poll for the great suggestions. I think I'll go back to polling based on your ideas for the future topics for a while. If you haven't voted, please do so!! And keep your ideas coming.

Subject:Suggesting New Topics

Time:1:52 pm.
To the two people who have made asshole comments here today about the current topic, and how lame this community is b/c we discuss some parenting topics, and how stupid they are (one of which was deleted and banned...) make suggestions here of new topics. Parenting related or not.

Everyone is welcome. Suggest as many as you can. If you run out of room, post them in a comment.

Poll #549330 Make some topic suggestions

Suggest some future topics (255 maxlength)

There is no way to make EVERYONE happy simultaneously. So, cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it. Or, just remove yourself from the community if you have nothing of substance to say on a topic and feel like being snarky. Don't say how stupid the topic is. Skip past it on your friends page.

This shit is getting really old really fast. So, stop it before I spank your ass, ground you for a week and take your stuffed Barney doll away. Or else.
